'Fixer to Fabulous' Fans Call Jenny Marrs the "House Whisperer" After Latest Episode

Fixer to Fabulous is back for season 6, and HGTV fans are thrilled to see Dave and Jenny Marrs back at work. While their incredible renovations are always swoon-worthy, it's the heartfelt connections that leave a serious impression on viewers.
This season, Dave and Jenny are tasked with helping out some families in need, including a 24-hour renovation for a mother and daughter recovering from cancer treatment and another home that was damaged during a tornado.
In episode 2, "Fresh Spin on a Family Home," the duo takes on a home with generational ties to the area. Jenny explained on Instagram, "The Swearingen family has lived here in Rogers, Arkansas since the 1800’s. This home was built on their family’s land by Scott’s grandpa. His mom and both sisters live just up the street. This was not just a house renovation. This home is a family legacy - holding generations of memories and laughter. And, we were charged with honoring the legacy while updating the home for Scott, Susie and their daughter."
She shared photos on her Instagram account and wrote, "I know it sounds a little crazy but I can feel when a home has held laughter and happiness (and the opposite is true as well). From the first moment I stepped inside this home, I could feel it: joy." She continued, "Goodness, my hope is that the joy can now continue for another five generations right here. 🤍"
Jenny's fans were quick to point out that she is not crazy. One viewer confirmed, "Somehow, I knew all along that you are the House Whisperer! You just walk in and read its vibes. ❤️" Another wrote, "was such a beautiful story & gorgeous renovation!!!" A fan summed it up: "This was a wonderful renovation! You truly captured their love of family and sense of place in all that you and Dave curated for them. It was a joy to see! 😍"
