Eighties Princess Di is my favourite Princess Di and ultimate fashion icon. The puffball skirts and polka dots! The shoulder pads! The frilly collars! The oversized sweatshirts and leggings!
But perhaps my favourite piece of all is that iconic black-sheep jumper by Warm & Wonderful that she wore, aged 19, to the polo in 1981.

The Boden sheep knit comes in blue and there are no black sheep in this flock. Having bought this style of jumper from the brand in the past, I recommend sizing up for a looser fit (it comes up quite fitted), so you can fit your frilly-collar shirt underneath.
Then pair with some classic blue jeans and loafers or some tailored checked trousers and trainers if you want to dial down the ‘80s.
