Fearne Cotton's friends share 'change' in star which led to Jesse Wood split
Fearne Cotton shocked fans earlier this month when she announced her split from husband Jesse Wood, and now sources close to the presenter have allegedly revealed a contributing factor to their split. Claiming that a change in Fearne's alignments created distance between the couple of 13 years, a source told MailOnline: "They are a lovely couple, but Fearne has changed a lot since they got together. She was a kind of rock chick when they first met and now she has turned into a bit of a hippy dippy therapy type."
The former couple, who share kids Rex and Honey, met in Ibiza back in 2011 while Fearne was on a girls' holiday, and previously recalled how their first date was spent drinking vodka and smoking cigarettes. While Jesse, who is the son of Rolling Stones legend Ronnie Wood, is now tea-total, Fearne has previously recalled their raucous past. "So he turned up at my house with a plastic bag with a bottle of vodka in, and we drank that and we did not eat a thing," she has said of their first date. Fearne and Jesse tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in London in 2014, three years after first meeting.
While Fearne was previously known for fronting some of the biggest show's on TV, she has now turned to podcasting, presenting her BBC Radio 2 show and being a doting mother to her two children. Often keeping her fans up to date via Instagram, it was here that she informed followers of her split from Jesse earlier this month.

Sharing a short statement, Fearne wrote: "It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that Jesse and I are ending our marriage. Our priority has been, and will always be, our children. We please ask that you respect the privacy of our family at this time."
The news came just over a week after TV presenter Fearne announced she would be undergoing surgery after discovering 'benign tumours'. Along with a video, Fearne wrote a lengthy statement where she said: "Hey gang. I'm going to be out of action for a bit due to a surgery. I felt a lump under my ear on my jawline a while ago now but this year noticed it was growing. Turns out it's a benign tumour and another small one above it on the saliva gland. I'm feeling positive about it all and will take the opportunity to rest and slow right down."
"It's obviously so weird that only a couple of months ago Davina told me about her tumour and then weeks later I was calling her having discovered mine. I'm not only lucky she's a bloody good mate but also a beacon of light and positivity when it comes to this stuff. Sending you all loads of love and I'll see you soon."
