Fashion Awards 2022: The Nominees Are Announced
It's nearly that time of year again. After almost ten months of upheaval, political unrest, disappointing budgets, inflation and soaring energy prices, it's hard to feel like we've really got a lot to look forward to. For the fashion obsessed though, there is one calendar event which brings joy through the chaos, annually delivering uplifting moments, celebrating creative talent and giving us something to be cheerful about.
In December, everyone who is anyone in the British fashion industry, plus a cohort of celebrities and design talent around the world, will descend once again on London's Royal Albert Hall, for The Fashion Awards 2022.
Conceptualised by the British Fashion Council (BFC), the event plays host to the most wildly luxuriant display of fashion design, hosted by a luminary in the art and design space (last year's host was none other than actor, singer and wearer of incredible, voluminous lewks Billy Porter) and bestows both stalwart and up-and-coming talent with the recognition they deserve.
