Yesterday the Royal Family said their goodbyes to Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away on 8 September at the age of 96. Included were two of the youngest royals, nine-year-old Prince George (who's now second-in-line to the British throne) and seven-year-old Princess Charlotte.

Throughout the day, we watched as the Wales children followed behind Her Majesty's casket at Westminster Abbey, and as they were comforted by their mother, Kate Middleton. We also saw a sweet moment between the pair, when Princess Charlotte whispered to her older brother as the Queen's coffin was transferred from the procession's gun carriage to a hearse.

Now, royal fans are convinced they've worked out what Charlotte said to her brother, and it makes a lot of sense! "You need to bow", the young royal appears to tell the future King as the Queen's coffin passes by. George quickly follows the instruction, and the pair both dip their heads as a sign of respect to their great-grandmother, the Queen.

"Did you see Charlotte tell George he has to bow? She's a little firecracker..." one royal fan said on Twitter in response to the sweet clip. "Amazing funeral yesterday, what made me titter was little Charlotte saying to George 'YOU GOT TO BOW', bless her," another person tweeted, as someone else wrote: "That video of Princess Charlotte telling/reminding Prince George that he needs to bow at the Queen’s funeral is so cute."

The sweet moment echoed a scene from earlier in the day when Kate – the newly-appointed Princess of Wales – reminded her children that they needed to bow as Her Majesty's coffin left Westminster Abbey following the funeral service. It lead many fans on TikTok to point out what a supportive sister Charlotte is, taking the advice of her mother and passing this on to George.

"She is a little princess Anne clone. We love a supportive little sister who follows protocol and keeps her brothers in line," one person said in response to the clip on TikTok. "She will be such a supportive sister when he’s King," a second fan added, with another putting: "George has the best sister to support him when the time comes. She’ll make an excellent Princess Royal."

Our thoughts remain with the Royal Family and all those mourning Her Majesty at this emotional time.
