Every MAFS UK 2024 star still together as the dust settles after explosive finale
The explosive ninth series of Married At First Sight has finally come to an end, with another reunion episode airing. This series has been particularly dramatic, featuring wine throwing, wife swapping, and a surprising amount of malt loaf. Last night's dinner party was especially fiery, with already strained relationships going up in smoke in a spectacular fashion. And there were plenty more twists and turns.
Of course, there have also been many romantic moments, with some smitten couples making it to their second set of vows relatively unscathed. However, as past participants know all too well, the dream can quickly crumble after leaving the bubble of the ever eventful dating show. Here, we take a look at the couples who seem to still be going strong and those who have called it quits….
Charlie and Eve
Charlie and Eve seemed head over heels in love on their wedding day, leading viewers to believe they were a perfect match. However, their honeymoon turned into a nightmare as the couple's contrasting communication styles led to several fiery arguments.

While Charlie, a lettings agent, fell hard for her bride, fitness coach Eve made it clear she needed space. The gap between them only widened once they returned to the UK, with Eve choosing to live separately. The tension reached its peak when Eve refused to participate in a letter-writing task set by the experts, despite Charlie pouring her heart out in her letter.
During an interview on the official MAFS UK: It's Official podcast with host Chloe Burrows, Charlie confessed that Eve's refusal to engage in the task was the final straw that led to their split. Charlie revealed: "She was just sticking to her guns. In her eyes, I just wasn’t the right person for her. It was for the best – by the point [of the second commitment ceremony], there was no coming back for me."
Eve and Charlie were the first couple to exit the experiment, leaving just before the second commitment ceremony. As fans watched the drama unfold, Charlie took to Instagram Stories to share her feelings about the show.
Charlie said: "What happened, happened, it is what it is. It was a really, really, really tough journey. But a time has passed, I’m happy, I’m doing well. What happened, happened, it is what it is. It was a really, really, really tough journey. But a time has passed, I’m happy, I’m doing well."
Since confirming things didn't work out with Charlie, Eve is very public about her new girlfriend, Brooke, and often shares loved-up snaps on Instagram. In one glam snap, she wrote alongside: "Been waiting on a girl like you for a while now."
Eve isn't the only one to move on, as Charlie has too. During a TikTok Live, she admitted: "I am seeing someone. I am dating someone now, and yeah I am seeing someone."
She’s since gone Instagram official with her new girlfriend, Philly, writing alongside a picture of them on Halloween: "#hardlaunch #halloween #girlfriend #mafsuk." The pair also attended their first red carpet together last month, with Philly writing: "@charlielcurtis first red carpet event- I think the +1 title suits me xoxox."
Orson and Richelle
Orson and Richelle's journey ended in week six, following a series of disagreements that made it clear they were far from the picture-perfect newlyweds. During their honeymoon, Richelle was visibly annoyed by Orson's constant talk about his past heartbreak, which she dismissed as 'sob stories'.
Richelle expressed her disappointment that Orson wasn't the 'strong man' she had hoped for, leading to further tension between the pair. In one unforgettable moment, Richelle criticised Orson for not being registered on Companies House.
In an attempt to salvage their relationship, Orson decided to stay for another week ahead of the couple's retreat - a decision that led Richelle to label him a 'cretin'. The couple kept their distance during the retreat, where Orson, 41, grew close to bride Hannah, whose own relationship was also on the rocks.
Orson admitted to this, but insisted he "didn't feel like [he] was walking on anybody's toes or disrespecting anyone." Upon discovering the kiss, Richelle unleashed a final tirade of insults at Orson during the next commitment ceremony. Business consultant Richelle, 48, said: "I find him quite weak-willed. You really aren't as sharp as you think you are. It's pretty obvious I think to most people, you are a bit simple."
Unsurprisingly, both parties chose to leave and it seems unlikely we'll be seeing any romantic reunions anytime soon.
Richelle has made a bold statement about her experience on the show, claiming it wasn't 'an equal and fair playing field'. She expressed her feelings by saying: "Anyone who has had to live through the consequences of deceit, whether in a relationship and/or professional life will tell you they never once looked back and thought, 'well at least I was kind'. Personally, at my age now, I know I'd rather be thought of as 'vile and mean' than be a MUG."
In other news from the show, despite Orson and Hannah's date during the recent reunion dinner episode, sparks didn't fly, and he's now reportedly seeing Harriet Southan – yes, that's the sister of Big Brother's third-place contestant Henry from last year's series on ITV.
Hannah and Stephen
After a fairytale wedding, Hannah and Stephen's marriage hit rocky waters during their honeymoon. Stephen was in a tizzy, fearing that Hannah might spill a secret he'd confided in her off-camera during a tense on-air moment. Despite Hannah's firm assurance that she wouldn't do such a thing, their relationship never truly recovered. By the time Stephen opted to leave in the first commitment ceremony, it was evident that reconciliation was a long shot.
Subsequent meetings were fraught with tension, exacerbated by Hannah's run-ins with several brides who accused her of making eyes at their husbands.
Stephen, too, had his gaze fixed elsewhere, nursing a crush on bride Sionainn, who didn't reciprocate his feelings. The final nail in the coffin came when Hannah and Orson confessed to sharing a kiss during the retreat, a wife-swap revelation that sent shockwaves through the experiment.
It also emerged during the boys' and girls' nights that Stephen had tried his luck with Sionainn, asking her out on a date, only to be turned down.
Sionainn and Ryan
Sionainn and Ryan decided to exit the show in week six following a huge off-screen argument. Sionainn, the Glasgow lass, opened up to the other brides, saying Ryan had been harsh with her words and admitted, "He decided to tell me that none of his feelings had ever been real. He'd been faking it all. It was all a holiday romance for him."
Meanwhile, Ryan has addressed their tumultuous relationship on Instagram, dubbing his time on the show an 'emotional rollercoaster.' He insisted he gave it his all and expressed, "I was starting to develop real feelings and it meant a lot to hear Sionainn say she felt 'safe and comfortable' around me. This is something I truly pride myself on, not only as a man but also as a dad."
Ryan added, "I wish things would have turned out differently but now feels like the right time for myself and Sionainn to leave the experiment and I wish her all the best for the future. I will always be grateful for the experience and the opportunity to learn and grow as a person as I continue to take these life lessons into my future."
Alex and Holly
One of the most explosive duos from the show, Alex and Holly, made their exit in week seven, but fans with a keen eye have been shocked to see hints of a reunion between the two post-show. Just earlier this month, the ex-couple were seen getting close during a buzzing night out in Manchester, and they've also recently taken a trip together to the Yorkshire Dales, sharing photos on Instagram.
Alex playfully titled their video: "Day out with my ex-wife," while Holly, who has allegedly received death threats following her fiery exchanges with fellow contestant Hannah, informed her followers: "I'm out with my ex-husband today."
The clips reveal them joking around about Alex’s timekeeping and belting out tunes in a carpool karaoke moment. They even reflected on their Married At First Sight experience, with Alex reminiscing how he thought Holly was 'the one' after she hit it off with his family on their big day.
Emma and Caspar
Emma and Caspar's journey on the show was nothing short of a rollercoaster ride, with an awkward start as Emma eerily reminded him of his estranged twin sister – someone he claims to 'hate'. Things went from bad to worse when gardener Caspar admitted during their honeymoon that he wasn’t attracted to her curvy figure, confessing he 'rarely goes for the curvier person'.
Yet, in between their squabbles, they managed to share laughs and even a sly 'snog’. Despite these moments, romance eluded them, and they amicably parted ways in the seventh week.
At the much-anticipated dinner reunion, all seemed forgiven as the pair playfully ribbed each other over their marital mishaps, with Emma rating Caspar a teasing four out of 10 as a hubby. In a heartwarming gesture, Caspar revealed he wears his wedding band on a necklace saying, "It's still part of my life, isn't it?"
Kristina and Kieran
Viewers were initially charmed by the dynamic between Kristina and Kieran, who with their vibrant personalities seemed a perfect match. Alas, as time went on, their relationship began to fracture, and issues arose with Kieran confessing his concerns about being with someone who battled severe PMDD.
Ultimately, much to their supporters' dismay, they split in the eighth week of the experiment, with Kieran also troubled by reminders of an ex in Kristina. After the show, Kieran reached out via Instagram to offer a heartfelt apology to Kristina: "Kristina, first of all, I’m sorry. I’m sorry that I couldn’t be there for you, I’m sorry that I’ve been trying to decide over the last couple of weeks whether I have it in me or not.
"I’m sorry I voiced that you have similarities to a previous relationship, and I never meant to compare you. I’m just sorry I couldn’t make it work."
The two seem to maintain a cordial relationship after the split. However, the distress was etched on Kristina's face during the reunion with her ex, particularly after he divulged having another fleeting romance post-experiment.
Amy and Luke
Wedding planner Amy certainly didn't mince her words during the final vows, as she dramatically dressed in black and proclaimed to Luke: "This marriage is done, dead, deceased. I stand here in front of you today wearing black to mourn its death. RIP."
Although Luke wasn't ready to throw in the towel and tried to rekindle their romance with a turtle brooch he sent alongside a letter to remind her of their honeymoon memories. Luke dropped a hint at the reunion dinner, sharing that if Amy showed up with the brooch, it might signal a second chance for them.
Voyeurs of love initially melted over this romantic move until Amy revealed the content of Luke's risqué letter. She recollected his words, saying: "'I've been thinking about you. I miss you. I miss waking up next to you'. It said 'I keep saying no regrets. I keep having one regret. When you were cooking I wish I got down on my knees and terrorised your b*****e." And then he added, 'PS write to me. I'd like that'. "
MAFS relationship guru Charlene Douglas weighed in, indicating Luke's approach was all wrong, emphasising Amy's distaste for such sexually explicit talk.
Polly and Adam
Polly and Adam's split comes after a remarkably stormy romance on the show. Although Adam made it quite clear from the start he didn't see any spark with Polly, she quickly became exasperated with his refusal to show love and affection.
Their constant squabbling peaked in intensity just before their final vows, where Polly did not hold back, labelling Adam a 'c***' and a 'narcissist'. It was hardly shocking that they chose to go their separate ways post-vows, yet the drama wasn't finished there.
During the reunion dinner party, Polly lambasted Adam, branding him a 'liar', to which he responded by spilling risqué details about their sex life. He contested her accusations, saying: "You used to lie in bed and ask, 'Why won't you f**k me? '. You used to moan like a child."
In a fiery retort, Polly dashed a glass of red wine at her ex-partner and left the scene, though she did come back to say sorry after cooling down and speaking with some friends. Both parties have been criticised for their behaviour and it looks exceedingly unlikely that Polly and Adam will be sharing a peaceful glass of wine anytime soon.
Ross and Sacha
Ross and Sacha have called it quits despite saying "I do" at the final vows. Ross decided to relocate to Walsall to be with Sacha, but their romance swiftly ended despite their initial affectionate display at the dinner party.
The dad-of-one spilled the beans on their split by going public with his new relationship on social media. She's already been revealed as a blonde beauty business owner called Magda and it's believed that the couple started dating in June.
Sacha and Ross had told each other they loved each other, but they became divided about where to live, with Ross based in Manchester and Sacha in Birmingham.
Nathan and Lacey
Nathan and Lacey exchanged vows under the stars, and their romance seemed destined for success when they both said yes. However, their love story has reportedly come to an end, with the relationship gradually losing steam.
According to a source who spoke to The Sun, "Nathan and Lacey really tried to make their relationship work in the real world but it just fizzled after a while."
The source continued: "The final vows were filmed in February and they were still going strong in April when the reunion was shot, but since then they have called in quits. They were both sad it didn't work out, but sadly it wasn't meant to be."
This news is likely to disappoint fans who were deeply invested in their relationship, as Nathan and Lacey were widely regarded as the strongest couple of the series.
