The Sussexes welcomed Prince Archie back on May 6, 2019. Princess Lilibet Diana — named after the late Queen Elizabeth and Princess Diana — followed two years later on June 4, 2021. As their roles within the royal family changed over the last couple of years, culminating in their exit in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been "reluctant" to share photos of their kids, hoping to give them "as normal a life as possible."
But the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have happily shared their joy at being parents when speaking at different events, and even given fans some tiny glimpses of life with their growing kids. From Valentine's Day bake-offs to serene moments at home, see some of the most adorable family moments Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have shared.

On sharing the Sussex name, Meghan told PEOPLE, “I love that that is something that Archie, Lili, H and I all have together. It means a lot to me ... It is part of our love story. I think as the kids get older, they’re so excited about, ‘Oh my gosh, Mama and Papa, how did you meet?’ I think that will come with time as they get older, but for right now a huge part of our love story is that we share the name Sussex."

“The Spencer gene is very, very strong," Harry told Stephen Colbert of hair color trait shared by many in Princess Diana's family. "I actually really, genuinely thought at the beginning of my relationship [with Meghan] that, should this go the distance and we have kids, that there’s no way the ginger gene will stand up to my wife’s genes — but I was wrong!”
But Meghan has passed on her own great hair genes as well: a journalist reported in October that Prince Harry said his kids were "blessed with their mother's thick hair" and that Lili would soon be able to sit on hers!

"Oh, some of the words that they still say with a British accent," she said. "So they'll say, 'Zebra,' and what else do they say? They have these little moments where it comes out. They have very American accents, but they say words that are just like him, and I think it's adorable. Zebra is a good one."
