Eva Longoria suffers extreme Photoshop airbrushing on Italian Amica magazine
Desperate Housewives star’s skin tone dramatically altered for magazine’s July 2012 issue
Actress Eva Longoria has appeared on the cover of the current issue of Italian Amica magazine. At least we think it’s Longoria.
The monthly magazine (which translates to ‘Friend’ in English) has photoshopped the Latino star so significantly, she’s almost unidentifiable.
Longoria, who topped Maxim’s Hot 100 list two years in a row, seems to be several shades paler than her normal olive complexion. Her body is peeping through a purple satin Lanvin gown for the shoot and her skin is almost ghost white.

Then there’s the small matter of her face, which looks completely different to what we know her face actually looks like, with super-accentuated cheekbones and a fake looking jawbone. Her breasts also seem to have disappeared.
Eva has suggested in the past that she’s not one to alter her appearance. “I'm terrified of needles and knives. I saw those Discovery Channel shows with the operations. The sound of the chisel. Agh! No thank you.” So it seems the heavy handed editing suite at Amica has done it for her.

For the shoot, we see her posing with what looks like a papaya, in front of a faux beach backdrop. However, the studio’s wooden floorboards are still seen at the bottom of the image - something that might have been better Photoshopped out.
Amica magazine is described as “bringing class and sophistication to any coffee table, and is a must read for any fashionista, aspiring or established.”

It’s not the first time the magazine has made a Photoshop blunder. In its previous issue, it appears to have randomly Photoshopped a crown onto cover star Diane Kruger’s head – perhaps jumping on the Jubilee bandwagon at the last minute.
Given how stunning the real Eva is, we’re wondering what on earth Amica was thinking. At least they’ve captioned the actress with her full name, maybe to remind us of who we’re looking at…
