Escape to the Country host's regret as she admits 'I got carried away' during celebrity search
Presenter Ginny Buckley left her famous guest lost for words, as she admitted she went "too big" on the latest episode of Celebrity Escape to the Country.
Ginny was back for another edition of the popular BBC show and was on hand to assist singer Alfie Boe. Alfie was longing to relocate to Sussex from London and wanted an ideal country house for his family.
But after seeing two stunning abodes, Ginny showcased a third gorgeous home which included six bedrooms. But although Alfie was blown away by the exterior, the interior failed to impress as he admitted it was maybe "too big".
After exploring the house, Ginny reflected on what happened and appeared to show regret. She confessed: "I think I've gone too big."

She continued: "I got carried away! I've been known to get a bit carried away at times in life and I think I have on this. What I feel like you're really looking for is not the space in terms of those rooms."
Laughing at the prospect of needing six bedrooms, Alfie agreed and added: "It's the space in terms of the structure of the rooms, I suppose."
But although things appeared to be going downhill, Ginny managed to claw her property search back by showcasing the spectacular mystery house to singer Alfie.
Again Alfie gave a positive reaction and seemed to love the entire home. This time though, it looked like a possible offer may have been on the cards.
But at the end of the show, when Ginny asked what he wanted to do next, Alfie shared that his property search was not over just yet.
The West End stat said: "The last house we saw was beautiful but that opened my mind to that specific area of Sussex. If houses like are available, I'd like to see what else is on the market just to keep my options open, not to jump for the first thing I suppose."
But with no offer on the cards, viewers at home weren't too pleased. One fan said: "#Celebrityescapetothecountry would be better suited to BBC2, not on prime time BBC1 two days before Christmas. Where’s the festive telly? Dull, dull, dull."
While another chimed: "As usual - a wasted hour."
Celebrity Escape to the Country is available to watch on BBC Iplayer.
