Erin Wong is happy to finally get some attention
4 Aug – TVB actress Erin Wong recently admitted that she is envious of her fellow Miss Hong Kong alumna Grace Chan, who is considered one of the more successful beauty queens of the 2010s.
As reported on HK01, the actress, who won first runner-up in the 2014 Miss Hong Kong pageant, has only recently attracted viewers' attention for her role in new TVB drama "Our Unwinding Ethos", earning praises for her acting skills in the series.
"This is the first time that a whole storyline revolved around me. There was a lot to play with, since there was happiness, anger, sorrow, rage and revenge. More room for development," she said, when asked why it was only now that the audience noticed her.
Erin said unlike Grace, who had been getting a lot of attention since day one, she hasn't had the same opportunities when she first made her TVB debut.
"I am quite envious of her, but everybody has their own journey. I am doing okay. Veronica, who won the crown the same year with me, is doing a lot of hosting and I focus on acting. So we are all developing in our own fields," she said.
