Emmerdale star's baby joy as he takes tiny son into Dingles set for adorable snap
Emmerdale star Bradley Johnson, who has played Vinny Dingle since 2019, has introduced the latest member of the soap family to the cast - his real-life son. Bradley, who welcomed a baby boy into the world two weeks ago with his fiancée Sammie Johnstone, has now revealed he's brought his son into work to meet the Dingles.
Bradley shared a sweet snap of himself grinning while cuddling his three week old baby on the famous Dingle sofa. Alongside the picture, Bradley wrote: “Take your baby to work day! Albie got to see the famous dingle set”. Actress Lisa Riley, who plays Bradley’s on-screen mum, wrote: “My heart is actually melting” followed by three love heart emojis.
Fans were thrilled that Bradley had gone into work to introduce his son to his second family, the Dingles, of which he's been a part of for five years. One wrote: “That’s great. He needs to meet the family.” Another added: “Albie is an honorary dingle now”. A third commented: “Beautiful little boy. He is going to get so much love from the dingles”.

Three weeks ago Bradley and Sammie announced they had become parents. Posting on Instagram, Bradley shared a photo of his newborn son, wearing a knitted onesie with the words “Hello world” written on the front.
Bradley also shared a wooden tag that revealed the couple had named their son Albie Jake Johnson and that he was born on Tuesday, November 19, at 10:47pm. Their baby boy weighed 6 lbs 13oz at birth. The caption alongside the photos read: “Albie Jake Johnson. You are absolutely everything.”
After the birth of his baby boy, Bradley’s Dingle pals took to social media to congratulate the couple. Lisa wrote: “You know how proud me and Al are of you and Sammie – we love you loads… CONGRATULATIONS… we are available for babysitting whenever, sending the biggest amount of love.”
Daisy Campbell, who is leaving the soap after playing Amelia Spencer since 2011, wrote: “Congrats Brad!” while Natalie Ann Jamieson, who plays Amy, wrote: “Ohhh my gooooodness!! Congratulations guys, absolutely gorgeous!” Fellow Emmerdale stars Isabel Hodgins, Michelle Hardwick and Laura Norton also sent their best wishes for the new arrival.
Bradley and Sammie got engaged in Rome last year and announced they would be welcoming their first child in June. The pair revealed the baby news to their fans with a picture of a cake that said ‘baby coming December 2024’ alongside ultrasound photos.
