Emma Stone's new Golden Globes hair is totally unexpected
Yes, the Golden Globes 2025 was a treasure trove of inspiration - both beauty and sartorial - but nobody made a statement quite like Emma Stone. She took the opportunity to debut a dramatic new pixie cut for the occasion, which might be her shortest style yet.
Cut by her long-term stylist Mara Roszak for her new role in upcoming film Bugonia (due out later this year), the mood board included shots of '90s Winona Ryder and Liv Tyler. And while we're familiar with Stone's auburn shade, this time, she opted for a rich, chestnut brown that perfectly complemented her cherry red Louis Vuitton dress.
Piecey, swept sideways and curled around Stone's face, the cut - although short - is a glowing example of how pixie cuts can look really pretty and feminine. This, combined with Brie Larson's new shorter style, is a surefire indicator that the pixie cut is one to watch out for in 2025. Would you take the plunge?
Elsewhere at the Golden Globes 2025, stars including Nicole Kidman, Zendaya, Angelina Jolie and Kate Winslet took to the red carpet in an array of glittering gowns to celebrate the best of film and TV. We're excited for awards season to be underway again, and hope to be gifted many more celebrity hair transformations to file in our inspiration folders...
