Emma Bridgewater launches new collection to mark King Charles III coronation
With under three months to go until King Charles's coronation on 6 May, memorabilia is already being created to mark the historic occasion.
British pottery brand Emma Bridgewater has launched a collection of royal-inspired homeware, along with a range of the must-have commemorative item -–coronation mugs.
Bridgewater's much-loved mugs have been given a regal makeover, with a range of half-pint as well as a 1 pint and smaller sizes to choose from. Priced at £23 each, the half-print options include the King Charles III Coronation mug decorated with the King's name and a crown, the 3 Cheers For King Charles III design, which features the date of the coronation, and the King & Countryman, which displays a countryside scene in a nod to the King's love of nature.
The fourth mug in the range features a crown print and it can be personalised to suit the recipient.
There are also three regal-themed 8 1/2 inch plates, a tea caddy, storage tin, tea towels, napkins and a tea pot, which within a day of launching, is sold out at the time of writing.
The brand has also created a stunning cake stand, which is available to Emma Bridgewater collectors only. The 3 Cheers For King Charles III design is £82 and is the perfect piece to display a decadent coronation cake.
