The name Barney is primarily used for boys and dates back hundreds of years. The moniker is rooted in the British names Barnaby and Bernard, meaning 'strong as a bear' or 'defender', according to The Bump.

Meanwhile, the name James is of Hebrew origin and has remained a firm favourite for hundreds of years. In fact, it also originates from the Hebrew name Jacob, 'supplanter' or 'holder of the heel'.

Emily shared her pregnancy with fans in December and continued to document her experiences on social media with fans. She then revealed she was having a baby boy during an interview on Loose Women, where she also spoke about her symptoms and feelings about being a new mum.

Telling the stars of Loose Women about how she had been finding the pregnancy, she said: "It’s not a barrel of laughs is it?! It’s so exciting, it’s very, very hard but I feel extremely connected to my body in ways that I’ve never been before. I used to get told off by my friends for not looking after myself enough and staying up too late and all of that and now I’m like, ‘No, my body is a vessel’. It’s so important that I get an early night and I’m really looking after myself."
