Emerald Fennell has given us all a masterclass in pinstripe tailoring, just in time for autumn.

Looking gorgeous, the Oscar-winning director and actor took to the red carpet to attend a Screen Talk at the 67th BFI London Film Festival, which takes place at BFI Southbank, London.

For the occasion on Thursday 5 October, the star — who is perhaps best known for her roles in Call the Midwife, The Crown and Barbie — sported an effortlessly on-trend look: the pinstripe suit.

Sharp tailoring is having a moment in the fashion world right now — and Emerald showed us all exactly how to wear it. She paired a pinstripe blazer with co-ordinating wide-leg trousers and layered a white top underneath for a touch of understated chic.

For her beauty look, Emerald wore her signature blonde bob swept into a side parting and opted for natural makeup.

This isn't the only seriously stylish look that Emerald has been spotted in recently. The night before, on Wednesday 4 October, the star attended the premiere of Saltburn during the Opening Night Gala of the BFI London Film Festival.

Here, she opted for another sleek look, pairing a statement blouse with cape-detailing alongside a black maxi skirt. To accessorise, she wore a black tie, giving her look a fun twist on a classic suit.
