All eyes were on Elizabeth Hurley as she stepped out on the pink carpet for a fundraising gala on Tuesday. The star wore a glamorous sequinned pink, floor-length gown for the charity event in New York.

Hurley, 56, looked every bit the part for the glamorous New York City fundraising event for Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The model and actress channelled the theme with aplomb and was every bit ‘pretty in pink’ for the charity’s Hot Pink Party at The Glasshouse in the Big Apple.

The long-sleeved dress featured shoulder pads for added drama and may have covered most of Hurley’s recognisable figure but it no less highlighted her sensational curves.

The slinky, sequinned dress highlighted the model’s toned figure with ruching detailing at the waist and a deep, plunging V neckline.

The actress took the Hot Pink Party’s theme to heart, opting for pink accessories, too, from pink drop earrings to her magenta platform peep-toe heels and a pale pink clutch.

Hurley completed the look with her signature highlighted bouncy brunette waves and glamorous makeup that featured her go-to dark eye-liner look.

The actor has been away from the red carpet for some time, last stepping out for an event in February with her lookalike son, Damian, at Dame Joan Collins 88th birthday and 20th wedding anniversary celebration at Claridges Hotel in London, and for a Versace show at Milan Fashion Week last September.

Hurley has been a longtime advocate for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation after she lost her grandmother to the heartbreaking disease.

The model has also revealed that her best friend was also diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018, and two other friend’s were able to get early diagnoses after she revealed that she regularly encouraged several friends to have lumps in their breasts examined.

“Two friends, both in their 40s, who had not checked themselves, they both checked after seeing my Instagram and two of them found lumps and went to the doctor, two were diagnosed with breast cancer and two have gone through treatment,” she told Good Morning Britain hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid.

“They're fine because they found it very early. They found a lump themselves, but they actually wouldn’t have self-checked had they not seen the Instagram that I did on behalf of our campaign.

“So, just hearing that alone makes you think, please ladies, start to check.”
