Eli Manning and Knob Creek Just Unveiled a New Limited-Edition Single Barrel Bourbon
Are you ready for some football . . . and some bourbon? Well, if you’re not, you better prepare yourself, because Knob Creek, part of the Jim Beam Small Batch Collection, just announced the launch of a new single barrel bourbon selected by NFL legend and self-professed whiskey fan Eli Manning.
The bourbon is called Eli Manning’s 2025 Bold Pick, a limited-edition bottling that is only available in a few key markets. Perhaps there’s a little sibling rivalry involved in this partnership: Manning’s older brother Peyton, also a former NFL star, collaborated with tennis player Andy Roddick and master blender Marianne Eaves to launch the Tennessee whiskey brand Sweeten’s Cove a few years ago. Manning is certainly not coming on as a new owner of Knob Creek, but this does bring him into the whiskey world all the same.

According to the brand, Manning traveled to the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky, to taste through samples and peruse the warehouses with eighth-generation master distiller Freddie Noe (son of Fred Noe, grandson of Booker Noe) before settling on the particular barrels for this release. “As the founding house of small batch American whiskey, our family knows bourbon as well as Eli knows football, so it is an honor to collaborate on this Knob Creek limited-edition release,” said Noe in a statement. “It was a pleasure to welcome Eli to our campus and into the rackhouse, where, together, we developed a full-flavored single barrel bourbon that truly stands out. I’m confident football and bourbon fans will enjoy it as much as we do, and I know it’s a whiskey that would make my grandfather and Knob Creek founder, Booker Noe, proud.”
Manning’s favorite bourbon is Knob Creek, according to the press release, because of course that’s what it would say. But the fact is that this Jim Beam brand is a favorite of many whiskey drinkers, with a portfolio that includes a 9-year-old core bourbon and 7-year-old core rye, as well as more limited bourbons aged for 12, 15, and 18 years. There is another single barrel selection in the lineup, and like that one, Manning’s 2025 Bold Pick is bottled at 120 proof. We did not get to sample the whiskey yet, but the official tasting notes detail toffee, honey, dark stone fruit, and dark chocolate on the palate, followed by cinnamon, black pepper, brown sugar, and espresso on the finish.
To celebrate the release of this new single barrel pick, Knob Creek is offering fans a chance to win a trip to the distillery that includes a hotel stay, roundtrip airfare, and a $1,000 gift card to the American Outpost gift store (that’s a lot of whiskey stones). You can enter for a chance to win at this website. As mentioned before, Eli Manning’s 2025 Bold Pick is available for a limited time (SRP $60) in just three markets: the New York metro area, New Orleans, and Los Angeles.
