Even though January is over it doesn’t mean that your healthy eating goals have to wane. If you’re trying to satiate your sugar cravings, one recipe creator has shared her secret for the ultimate fudge - with no added sugar.

Bethany, who goes by Lilsipper on social media, explained how you only need two ingredients to make the perfect fudge - and one is surprising. Instead of using the traditional ingredients of butter, sugar, milk or cream, Bethany swapped all those out for cottage cheese.

She captioned her post: “Don't knock it 'til you try it! I based this recipe off of my greek yogurt fudge, but of course using cottage cheese. I used 100% organic unsweetened chocolate which has no sugar - but if you are not used to a sugar free diet, of course you can use sweetened chocolate.”

All you need is a blender to do the work and the patience for the fudge to set. Bethany said: “Did you know if you blend cottage cheese and chocolate you can create two-ingredient cottage cheese fudge.”

Bethany’s video has already been viewed over a massive 915,800 times, receiving 17,900 likes and 75 comments. Cottage cheese has become a viral healthy substitute for a number of dishes over the past year, with a number of people divided by the swap.

One person said: “But if I’m using chocolate I rather eat the chocolate alone lol.” A second commented, “Just because you ‘can’ doesn't mean you ‘should’,” while Rere said, “Fudge should not be wet.”

However, Elise wrote: “I know everybody likes to hate on cottage cheese, but it’s literally so good. If you mix it with things, you can’t even taste it. I hated cottage cheese until I tried buffalo chicken with cottage cheese.”

Cat agreed: “This looks good. Gotta try!!”

This healthy sweet treat requires minimal ingredients and minimal fuss, so here is what you'll need to do.
