EA FC 25 servers down with online features unavailable as maintenance extended
EA FC 25's online features remain down despite scheduled maintenance finishing. Players are currently unable to access online game modes to play against rivals across the globe.
Gamers hoping to rack up wins and points ahead of Division Rivals rewards have had a disappointing morning after EA Sports confirmed the servers would be down for maintenance today for EA FC 25, as well as EA FC 24 and Fifa 23.
The downtime started just hours after the Frost Update patch notes were released, with this latest major update set to make big changes to gameplay, Ultimate Team, Clubs and Rush. The latest patch, also known as Title Update 6, will likely roll out when EA FC 25 servers return online, The Mirror reports.

The maintenance started at 5am GMT today, Wednesday, December 4 - 12am EST / 9pm PST on Tuesday, December 3, for players based in the US. Posting on X, formerly Twitter, EA said that the downtime was expected to last around six hours.
This should have seen online features return for PlayStation, PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch at around 11am, UK time. But as of 11.30am, the servers were still down, despite the planned downtime officially finishing.
Announcing the maintenance, EA Sports tweeted: "We’ll be running maintenance on EA SPORTS FC 25, EA SPORTS FC 24, and FIFA 23 on December 4th at 05:00 AM UTC for about 6 hours. While we’re working, you won't be able to play online, but we’ll get you back in the game as soon as we can."
At around 11.40am, EA Sports tweeted that the maintenance was still ongoing, with EA FC 25's online features affected across all gaming platforms.
Although this is the first time EA FC 25 has been down for maintenance since its release in September, six hours of server downtime is pretty normal for EA Sports FC titles. The last EA FC 24 server downtime back in May also lasted six hours, but the previous period of maintenance in April was extended to seven hours, so it's not unusual for server downtime to last longer than first stated.
With so many promos in packs, such as Thunderstruck, Best of Campaign and TOTW 12, with the latter set to be released later today, let's hope the online features return soon
