The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have arrived at the UK premiere of ‘The Lion King’ in London.

For her first post-baby red carpet event at Leicester Square, Meghan revisited her Hollywood roots in a £3,454 black satin dress with sheer sleeves by Jason Wu.

The ‘mesh panel flared dress’ has yet to fall under the ‘Meghan Effect’ spell and is surprisingly still available to shop.

A co-ordinating £1,680 Gucci clutch and matching shoes completed the winning ensemble.

For extra regal points, the 37-year-old wore her hair in a polished bun with sparkly earrings by Greek designer Nikos Koulis.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry looked dapper in a traditional tux and evening shoes.

After spotting Meghan grace the red carpet, a number of fans took to social media to praise the new mother for showcasing her post-pregnancy figure.

One took to Twitter to write, “I get that no one should be lauded for this, but I really respect that Megan, Duchess of Sussex has not starved herself to pre-baby weight because it's ‘expected’ of public figures.”

Another agreed, adding: “Meghan looks better now than she ever has and I though that would have been impossible. That post pregnancy face, body and glow is everything.”

The royal couple are expected to meet with members of the cast and crew this evening with fans excited for them to meet Beyoncé who has arrived with husband Jay-Z.
