The Duchess of Cambridge is well-known for being a tennis enthusiast.

A regular in The Royal Box at the Wimbledon Championships over the years, the mum-of-three has continuously aced court side style in dresses by the likes of Alexander McQueen, Dolce & Gabbana and Emilia Wickstead.

While the annual event won’t be taking place this year due to the coronavirus, marking the first time the tournament hasn’t gone ahead since World War 2 - the 36-year-old royal still managed to embrace her spectator style.

Ahead of what would have been the start of finals weekend of the famous championships, the duchess was joined on a video call with pupils at Bond Primary School, in south London, by surprise guest and Wimbledon champion, Sir Andy Murray.

Kate, who is Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club, wore a fitting tennis-themed ensemble for the occasion.

A closer look at the bold green midi dress shows that it’s covered in tiny tennis players.

The playful design was created by British brand HVN, the eponymous brand of model and DJ Harley Viera-Newton, which is stocked at Net-A-Porter, Farfetch and Matches Fashion.

While the patterned dress is arguably one of the most quirky garments the mother-of-three has ever debuted, followed by the £40 cabbage print M&S dress Kate wore last month, it has already been a big hit and the £665 dress is almost sold out.

So if you want to recreate Kate’s SW19 style this year, you may want to hurry.

Kate paired the look with coordinating Green Onyx gemstone earrings by British jeweller, Monica Vinader, which are also available to buy for £115.
