Duchess of Cambridge wears pink McQueen to sister Pippa Middleton's wedding

The Duchess of Cambridge arrived at her sister Pippa Middleton’s wedding in a rather unexpected look.
Although Kate wasn’t playing the role of bridesmaid for the day, she was still one of the most watched at the high-profile event.

Arriving to St Mark’s Church in Englefield, Berkshire, the Duchess looked sublime in a long-sleeved rose pink dress by one of her favourite labels, Alexander McQueen. Kate’s simple dress definitely did its job by not outdoing her younger sister’s lacy Giles Deacon gown.
The Duchess appeared to break one of her style rules, choosing a V-neck design that is rarely seen on royal women. She accessorised with a circular peach hat that featured an elegant rose detail and finished with nude suede heels.
The Duchess stuck to a simple beauty look with her hair styled in a chic up-do to show off her dangling earrings.

Kate arrived with all the page boys and flower girls, leaving some to wonder if she is actually chief bridesmaid for the day. She was also seen adjusting Pippa’s dress before the bride made her way into the church.
The two young royals appeared to have been behaving themselves in their role as page boy and flower girl. Kate recently expressed fears that they might play up during the ceremony.

Prince William arrived separately to the rest of his family – instead turning up with his brother Prince Harry.
It’s unclear whether the Duchess will be following Pippa’s two outfit rule and changing into another ensemble for the evening reception which will be held a few miles away in the Middleton family home.
