It's fair to say that the Duchess of Cambridge boasts an enviable shoe collection, filled with everything from designer Jimmy Choo heels, to high street options from L.K.Bennett, Superga and on occasion, Marks & Spencer.

Cast your mind back to February 2020 when the duchess visited London Stadium in Stratford to meet athletes supported by the charity SportsAid.

The mum-of-three, who became a Patron of SportsAid in 2013, debuted a comfortable looking green ensemble for the occasion, the statement item of which was a pair of white trainers adorned with green, beige and silver stripes.

Royal fashion fans quickly uncovered the trendy trainers were from Marks and Spencer, retailing for a very affordable £29.50.

Unsurprisingly, the trainers sold out extremely quickly, but if you weren't quick enough to get your hands on the sneakers first time around M&S has just released a new version of the Lace Up Ribbon Detail Trainer and they're just as stylish.

The new version comes in three new colours; metallic silver with three pastel rainbow stripes on the side; navy blue with white sole and multicoloured side detail; and a plain white design with black stripes.

All three styles are available in the UK in shoe sizes 3 to 8, as well as half sizes, and cost £29.50.

The design itself has been given the seal of approval from experts, as the shoes feature Insolia Flex technology, which provides extra support and comfort for the wearer's feet, and has been approved by the UK College of Podiatrists.

The trainers, which are vegan, have a ribbon lace and are low rise.

Whether you pair them with leggings, joggers and a hoodie, or jeans with a classic t-shirt and shacket, we predict these will be a stylish wardrobe essential you will be sure to get your wear out of all summer long.
