The Duchess of Cambridge revealed her penchant for affordable high street jewellery on Tuesday.

The 39-year-old royal enjoyed a trip to the countryside with husband Prince William on 27 April, and as part of the latest royal engagement, they headed to Manor Farm in Little Stainton, Durham.

During the visit, the couple met with the farming family and workers, before enjoying a muddy walk in the fresh air, and helping with lambs at the farm.

For the occasion the duchess pulled on a favourite, The Troy x Brora Fair Isle Jumper, which she previously wore during the royal train tour in December last year.

She layered the cosy knitwear over a ruffle-collared blouse from Sezane, and to keep the chill at bay she paired it with her weather-proof Seeland jacket.

She also turned to a pair of dark denim jeans and her go-to Penelope Chilvers high boots for the outing.

Paying attention to detail, as ever, the duchess accessorised her classic outdoor look with a pair of stylish hoop earrings.

They are the Chain Huggie Hoop Earrings from Orelia, which retail for an affordable £15.

This is not the first time she has relied on the delicate accessory, as she debuted the earrings back in March when she visited a school in East London amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The earrings are made with a brass base, and gold plated. They have a click clasp fastening, and measure 1.3cm in inner diameter.

They are also available to buy from ASOS, but have sold out due to popular demand, and we predict Orelia's stock will soon sell out too.

Orelia joins Accessorize, Missoma, and Monica Vinader, amongst Duchess Catherine's go-to jewellery brands.
