A study has revealed a correlation between a love of black coffee and psychopathic tendencies.
*awkward shuffle*
The Independent reported: "The study, carried out by researchers at the University of Innsbruck, found that a preference for bitter flavours was linked to psychopathic behaviour. "
The study also found a close association between enjoying bitter foods (negroni anyone?) and "everyday sadism" AKA enjoying inflicting moderate pain on others.
This isn't the first time a study has shown a connection between the flavours we like and our personalities. Enjoying gin and tonics is also frowned upon FYI so we may as well give up now.
