Dreading Christmas-tree storage? The solution's in the bag (and on sale) for $14
Un-deck the halls with this big, sturdy, waterproof tote, the sane way to send your holiday centerpiece to bed.
Now that Christmas is over, you're probably thinking about what to do with that big, gorgeous tree lighting up your living room. We're not trying to rush you into taking it down, but if visions of post-holiday cleanup are already dancing through your head, here's some help: Zober's Large Christmas Tree Storage Bag. It'll make your holiday-season life easier for years to come and is now only $14.
Battling a holiday hangover? Sorry to hear that, but take heart with this Zober-ing buy that can make your post-holiday life safer and saner.
Why is it a good deal?
You already saved money by using an artificial tree, so why not add to the savings? At $14, this giant bag is close to the lowest price we've ever seen. Just keep in mind that items like this often drop in price right after Christmas but then spike once the post-holiday rush is over, so add it to your cart ASAP.
Why do I need this?
In theory, an artificial tree can be stored inside the box it came in, but 1) it never fits back inside in that Tetris-tight arrangement in which it left the factory and 2) after just a year or two of packing it up and dragging it back out, the cardboard is showing the strain with tears, holes and, perhaps, water damage. An easier, longer-term solution is in order, and the Zober tree bag is it. Measuring 65" x 15" x 30", it's big enough to hold a 9-foot tree. Its waterproof polyester construction ensures that your tree will emerge clean, intact and mildew-free next December. A durable zipper seals the deal, and stitched-tight handles make it an easy schlep from your living room to the attic, garage or closet.
What reviewers say:
More than 57,000 reviewers have given this tree storage bag a perfect five-star rating, and it's easy to see why.
Pros 👍
"I love this bag for how easy it makes moving my tree," said a reviewer with a happy-ending story to tell. "I have a 7-foot, somewhat wide/full tree from Hobby Lobby that I've always kept in the original box, but every year, it gets a little harder to squish it down into the box. So then I would just have to slide it around the house and manhandle it around hallway corners in order to put it away, and even then, it took up a lot of space, lying on the floor. So I put the entire box into this bag, and it fit with room to spare. So now I have easy-to-use handles and I can stand the whole thing up so it only takes up a back corner of a closet!"
"This storage bag is great, my artificial tree fits with room to spare ... Waterproof, easy to maneuver and handle," summarized this shopper. "I purchased a little bigger than I should have, but am totally satisfied with this product. I recommend this storage solution 100%."
"This product was recommended online for those looking for a storage solution for their 12-foot skeleton prop," remarked this apparent Halloween aficionado. "Yep, fits perfectly and much easier to carry than that giant cardboard box."
"The box my tree came in was falling apart," admitted this reviewer. "I decided to try this and man did it work well. I put way too much in it, but it worked great!"
Cons 👎
Some reviewers caution that you're getting a soft-sided bag without any internal structure.
"This is a great bag for your Christmas tree but in no way does it have any form or structure to it as implied by the picture," said one buyer. "It's basically a giant body bag for your Christmas tree. We have a 7.5-foot tree, and it fit in nicely with room to spare, but it just sort of flops all over and seems to take up more room than the more compact box the tree originally came in. ... It definitely works as advertised, does not look as advertised, but it's functional."
"The only small complaint I have is that I thought it was going to have that box shape to it. It was not. It was more just like a bag. It wasn't a big deal. I would still purchase it again," agreed another shopper.
Just so you know: Green seems an entirely fitting choice, of course, but if you'd like to get creative, this genius bag is also available in red and two checked designs.
If you prefer to keep your tree stored upright, Amazon has this option too.
This tear-resistant and waterproof bag is large enough for trees up to 9 feet tall, and has a drawstring hem, zipper and carry handles.
"This bag was more than large enough for my tree and it was so sturdy, I was able to gather the excess using the adjustable cords on the bottom," shared a thrilled shopper. "Exactly what I wanted and yet still more than I expected!"
If you have Amazon Prime, you'll get free shipping, of course. Not yet a member? No problem. You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here. (And by the way, those without Prime still get free shipping on orders of $35 or more.)
