Oliver and Amelia may be riding high on the most popular baby names list but you can forget it if you want your baby’s moniker to be trendy.
According to style bible, Harper’s Bazaar, names such as Apollo, Magnus, Cleo and Ruby are among the most ‘fashionable’ baby names.
So if you want your little one to be part of the fashion set, you better start looking outside the baby name box.
Marlin, Oribe, Pernille, Haven and Lapo will hit the spot, if you’re looking for something a little more out-there, while celebrity fans can rejoice as the list includes a sprinkling of famous offspring you might recognise including Kendall, Flynn, Coco, Shiloh, Knox, Romeo and Sparrow.
Jean Paul, June, Jonathan and Rosie also made the list, alongside Bianca, Bruce, Constance, Gareth, Georgina May and Isabel. Supermodel inspired names such as Karlie, Kaia and Iman also make the style grade.
Jamie Oliver may have chosen River as the name for his fifth child, but Lake would have been the more fashionable water-inspired choice according to the fashion mag.

The magazine hopes its list will help parents choose a fashion-forward moniker that will divide the Bobbys from the Bruces on the school register.
So if you’re keen for your tiny one to be bang on-trend, step away from the baby name book and take a look at the list below for 20 of the next big names to watch out for in the style set:
