Doctor Who fans are flocking to the German Disney+
Doctor Who fans have flocked to social media after the German version of Disney Plus released a different trailer for the new series. The trailer itself is dubbed in German, and overall is visually different to the one that the BBC released earlier this week.
The German trailer depicts more features of the plot of the new series, including new aliens and also animated depictions of the Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) and his new companion, Belinda Chandra (Varada Sethu). For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter

Many fans have questioned the release with one user commenting "Wonder if this just dropped first out of all the dubs Or if they gave them extra footage for some reason"

Others are enjoying the extra footage, with one saying "Whoohoo! I'm loving this Doctor Who Season Two Disney Deutschland trailer!"
Another added: "I like this trailer better" Whereas others have argued: "Why have they spoiled so much?"
Only time will tell whether or not Disney will release an English version of the new trailer, but for now fans will have to enjoy the German dubbed version to get their fix.
The second series of the Disney-era Doctor Who is set to premiere on 12 April. The BBC announced: "This spring, audiences will join The Doctor and Belinda Chandra on an epic quest to get Belinda back to Earth. But a mysterious force is stopping their return and the time-traveling TARDIS team must face great dangers, ferocious enemies and wilder terrors than ever before."
