Princess Diana's niece channels one of her most iconic looks
Princess Diana‘s off-the-shoulder ruched black mini dress is remembered as one of her most iconic looks of all time after it was labelled the ‘revenge dress’ following her separation with Prince Charles.
Now, Diana’s niece Kitty Spencer looks to have channelled her aunt with a modern retake of the famous outfit.
While attending the Bulgari Tribute to Femininity exhibition in Moscow, the 27-year-old model stunned in a similar style black ruched, off-the-shoulder Dolce & Gabbana gown.
And just like Diana, Kitty – who is known for exceptional style – accessorised the look with a gorgeous statement necklace, a silver bracelet and dangling earrings.
While Kitty has said she has little memories of Diana considering she was only six years old when she died, she sure is genetically blessed with strikingly similar looks to the Princess.

Not only did Diana look flawless when she wore the cocktail dress to a fundraiser in 1994, but the sexy look also appeared to be a symbol of her newfound independence away from the royal family.
It was said to be a strategic choice or in other words, the ‘revenge dress’ after she wore it on the exact same night Charles had a TV interview admitting he had been unfaithful during the course of their marriage.
“In that mini-dress, she oozed confidence, an air of happiness and independence. It was a classic case of a woman wearing the dress and not the other way around,” fashion journalist Alex Longmore previously told HuffPost.
During the time of their separation – finalised with a divorce in 1996 – Diana often made headlines for being a modern fashion icon and it seems her niece Kitty is creating a similar label for herself.
