'Diana would have enjoyed Meghan’s desire to help save the world'

Princess Diana’s astrologer says the late royal “would have enjoyed Meghan’s desire to help save the world.”

Debbie Frank, who worked with Diana from 1989 until her death in 1997, tells Yahoo UK‘s ‘The Royal Box,’ that Prince Harry’s mother and his wife “would have had a lot in common.”

Diana was renowned for her charity work and was president or patron of over 100 charities as part of her royal duties. She was particularly passionate about helping homeless and disabled people, children, and people with HIV/AIDS.

Similarly, Meghan has been involved in humanitarian work long before she became a member of the Royal Family.

The former actress served as a counsellor for the One Young World summits in Dublin in 2014 and in Ottawa in 2016. The UK based organisation gathers young leaders from around the world to develop solutions to the world’s most pressing issues.

Meghan has also worked with vulnerable children’s charity World Vision and made trips to Rwanda in 2016 and Delhi and Mumbai in 2017 to learn about their projects. She continues to focus on gender equality and girls’ access to education within her current charity work as part of her royal duties.

Debbie thinks Diana would have made a great mother-in-law to her sons’ wives Kate and Meghan.

“She certainly would have helped everyone ease into the Royal Family,” she says.

“I think that Diana really warmed especially to people who were quite relaxed with her. Hopefully she could have got Kate to relax a bit more.”

Kate Middleton, who married Prince William in April 2011, was born on January 9, 1982, which makes her star sign Capricorn.

Meghan Markle, who wed Prince Harry last year, is a sun sign Leo and is a “complete firecracker,” Debbie says.

The author of Written In The Stars adds: “Interestingly [it’s] a throwback to the days of the Queen Mother and Princess Margaret – they’re all sun sign Leo.

“We’ve got this big showstopper really there and a huge contrast with Kate, who’s very elegant, very dignified.”
