TV presenter Davina McCall and MP Carolyn Harris have both been prominent voices in the growing conversation around the menopause and how we can revolutionise support for women going through it.

So it's no wonder that the two change-makers have come together to join forces.

Ahead of World Menopause Month in October, the pair were seen attending the inaugural Women in Work Summit, which took place in London.

The Women in Work Summit focussed on how women can be supported in the workplace and included discussions on women’s health and menopause.

Davina and Carolyn both posted the same sweet picture from the event to their Instagram pages. The photo - which showed the pair smiling and hugging - was fittingly captioned: "With this woman by your side, anything is possible 💫 #sisterhood"

The forces for change were later joined by the other attendees, including patron for Menopause Mandate Lavina Mehta MBE, broadcaster Mariella Frostrup, and TV presenter Cherry Healey.

Carolyn is known for championing better support for the menopause and striving for change. The MP for Swansea East previously campaigned for lower HRT prescription charges after her own menopause misdiagnosis.

Meanwhile, Davina has become a well-known campaigner for better research and recognition across many aspects of women's health, from contraception to the menopause and beyond.

She previously shared her inspiring take on the menopause with the audience at last year's Good Housekeeping Live, in partnership with Dyson.

Chatting to Good Housekeeping's Editor-in-Chief, Gaby Huddart, Davina shared how she's seeing the menopause as her "second spring."

Talking candidly, Davina said: "So many people see midlife as being the autumn of our lives. Our kids have grown up, life is changing and we're dealing with so much emotionally."

She added: "However, I think considering this time as a 'second spring' is just lovely. This is our time. I'm not just a mum, a colleague or a partner. I am a woman. We all have a story and this part of our lives is about sharing that experience and embracing this time."
