Davina McCall breaks 'social media silence' as she poses in gold bikini with rarely-seen boyfriend
TV presenter Davina McCall sent fans into a frenzy with a sizzling bikini snap as she acknowledged her absence on social media. She's currently living it up in a stunning villa in Italy with her boyfriend, Michael Douglas.
She shared a photo of herself on Instagram, where she was pictured donning a hot gold bikini gifted from Osale. Captioning the snap, Davina penned: "Been a bit quiet... On here... but we r having a raucous time in Italy with @mdlondon, my kids my sis and her family... good times thanks @osale.plage for my bikini! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! #gift."
The presenter's famous pals all loved the carefree snap in which Davina shows off her incredible physique. Ashley Roberts, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Tess Daly all responded with fire emojis while an dedicated follower expressed: "God I wish I looked like Davina in a gold bikini, mind you she's worked hard for a bod like that."
Masked Singer star Davina told the Mirror she was “having the time of her life" in September as she opened up about her relationship with Michael.
Davina, who is also a mother to three beautiful children with her ex-husband Matthew Robertson, has found love again with the celebrity hairdresser. They have made several appearances together on Celebrity Gogglebox and countless red carpet events, showing off their loved-up relationship, reports the Mirror.
Last year, at the National Television Awards, Michael was the picture of chivalry as he tenderly adjusted Davina's hair before they posed for photos a truly adorable moment. Davina opened up about her romance, stressing the importance of "keeping my love life private" as the secret sauce to her happiness.
She shared: "I give so much of myself to the public that I need something just for me," and explained that maintaining a bit of mystery about her love life is what helps "keep the magic.".
"Michael is so funny, he's just amazing," she gushed, noting how special it feels to share moments like hitting the red carpet at the NTAs together. She clarified that they're not intentionally shying away from the limelight, but when it comes to personal details, she prefers to keep things under wraps: "It's nice to do things together like walking the red carpet at the NTAs, and it's not like we're purposefully trying to hide away from anyone. But when you get into a couple, people start asking you questions about the nitty-gritty and I just don't want to share that."
Davina firmly put to rest any speculation of drama or secrets, emphasising that their choice for privacy is simply to cherish their bond. "Privacy keeps our relationship special to us," she insisted.
"There's something lovely about it and that's all it is. It keeps it really magical and I like that. I would never talk about how our relationship works, about arguments or even things like what we eat for breakfast and who drives the other crazy. I want to keep that for me."
