David and Victoria Beckham's London mansion raided by masked intruder - report

David and Victoria Beckham reportedly suffered a horrifying ordeal when their London mansion was raided while they were at home.

A masked burglar entered a spare upstairs bedroom in their £40 million Holland Park property but David, 46, Victoria, 47, and their daughter Harper, ten, failed to notice the break-in on the evening of 28 February, according to The Sun.

The burglary was reportedly discovered by their 17-year-old son Cruz when he returned to the house with friends after a night out. The family rang the police after finding thousands of pounds worth of designer goods and electronics gone.

"Police were called at 00.37 hours on Tuesday, March 1 to reports of a burglary at a residential address in the W11 area of Kensington," a statement from the Metropolitan Police reads.

"The burglary is believed to have taken place between 20.30 and 23.30 on Monday, February 28. A number of items were reported stolen. No arrests have been made. Inquiries continue."

They are also investigating attempts to raid neighbouring properties, although nothing has been reported stolen.

According to a source, security footage shows the intruder climbing over a front gate before entering the home.

"The footage is said to show the intruder clambering over the gate at the front of the house," the insider told The Sun. "He then shimmied up the house and broke in through the window of a spare bedroom.

"Cruz discovered the break-in when he arrived home in the early hours with some friends. He immediately ran to wake his dad and David carried out a search of the house in case the burglar was still inside the premises."

The source added that the Beckham family have been "shaken up" by the burglary.
