David Beckham has appeared on the cover of a fashion magazine, sporting teal eyeshadow and smudged dark eyeliner – popularly known as ‘guyliner’.
Posing for biannual publication LOVE Magazine, the 43-year-old’s green eye make-up pairs perfectly with his floral neck tattoo, visible under an open shirt.
The magazine shared the cover, together with video footage from the shoot, on Instagram with no mention of the make-up styling but included a quote from the retired footballer on his love of sport.

From the very first time he set foot on the field, @davidbeckham knew he wanted to be a football player. ‘That’s how my career started and that is where I felt most at ease, most confident and happiest. I turned into a totally different person. Once I was on the field I knew that was what I could do best.’ While his confidence came easily on the pitch, off the pitch was a different story. Beckham has long proved a pioneer when it comes to male style trends – as throwback pictures of David and his wife Victoria Beckham are testament to.
In fact, the influence of ‘Brand Beckham’ has proved so popular that the Beckhams and their children have been referred to as ‘Britain’s second royal family’.
The family of five posed for the October 2018 over of British Vogue, cementing their sartorial status.
But David’s style game hasn’t always been so strong.
Past beauty and fashion moments also include cornrows, matching leather outfits with Victoria, and peroxide blonde hair.
Of course, it is Victoria who has enjoyed fashion fame in recent years. Last September, the Beckham family was out in full force at her debut London Fashion Week show.
