Wimbledon kicked off today (Monday, July 1), with a host of celebs lining up to watch the world's finest tennis players, including David Beckham who looked as stylish as ever.

Regular attendee David looked dashing in an immaculate Hugo Boss suit as he accompanied his mum Sandra to the sporting spectacle. The former footballer sported a chic beige two-piece, paired with a crisp blue cotton shirt and glamorous gold tie - a choice that follows hot on the heels of his new ambassadorial contract with the luxury brand.

However, things could have taken an uncomfortable turn with Katherine Jenkins in attendance, who he reportedly refused to apologise to for disparaging comments relating to her OBE. David himself was honoured with the award in 2023 for his footballing contributions, but protested when Katherine received her commendation in 2018, reports the Mirror.

David, 49, reportedly wasn't pleased at the time that no further honours came his way and made unfavourable remarks about the 44 year old Welsh artist in a leaked email.

In the alleged message to an advisor, David allegedly penned: "Katherine Jenkins OBE for what? Singing at the rugby and going to see the troops plus taking coke. F***ing joke."

Katherine later described his apparent words as hurtful, stating she hadn't sought clarity from him or received an apology. Katherine - who was seen sitting one row behind him while soaking up the first day's action - told The Sun at the time: "It's obviously disappointing. I've never heard anything from them about it. You just think, 'Aw, I wasn't doing anything.'

"To get caught up in that wasn't pleasant. I don't know why, again, that was aimed at me. I also don't feel the need to defend this, by the way. I know what I've done and when I got the OBE it was given to me for music, and for charity."

She continued to express that David's remarks "didn't matter," and her main focus remained on "my kids, my family, my singing, my charities," dismissing anything else as "just white noise in the background".

Katherine Jenkins looked absolutely stunning in an elegant white gown and chunky black-framed sunglasses as she attended Wimbledon today, 7 July. She was spotted alongside her husband Andrew Levitas, with the pair looking loved-up as they strolled hand-in-hand to the event.
