David Beckham gives rare look inside his home office and fans can't believe who's on the wall
David Beckham has given fans a rare glimpse inside his lavish home office - and it features a very unlikely piece of decor. The sporting icon, who recently opened up about his grief following the death of Kath Phipps, gave his 88.3 million Instagram followers a look inside his office as he revealed that the festive Elf on the Shelf had taken hold of the room and had left some mess on the floor.
In the clip, David, 49, could be seen walking around his office as he panned the camera around to reveal some tinsel and a series of elf dolls which had been positioned on one of the cabinets.
However, in addition to giving fans a peek of what the elves had been up to, the former Manchester United footballer revealed a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on his wall. As he turned towards the cabinet, a photo of the late monarch formed part of a gallery wall.

“I know it's early morning, I've literally just walked into the office,” he explained. “Normally my office is actually quite tidy, something has gone on during the night.” He added: “I mean, really? Mess on the floor, it's definitely Christmas in the office.”
In response to the festive video, fans of David flocked to the comments section to joke about the “mess” in the room. “Wow... @davidbeckham you need to come to my house then! Lol! Love you xxx,” wrote one. “That’s the tidiest mess I’ve ever seen,” another added.
It comes after David and his wife Victoria attended a state banquet at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, 3 December where they mingled with royalty as King Charles and Queen Camilla played hosts.
Over the years, David’s rapport with the royals has been clear to see and he was recently given the role of celebrity ambassador for The King’s Foundation. The football icon was previously awarded an OBE in 2003 for his services to football and has been seen at a number of major royal events, such as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ’s wedding and the Prince and Princess of Wales’ wedding.
Meanwhile in 2022, David queued for 12 hours to pay his respects and see Queen Elizabeth II lying in state at Westminster Hall. Footage from the occasion appeared to show the former England captain wiping tears away from his eyes. “It's special to be here, to celebrate and to hear the different stories that people have,” he said.
