The ice cream spot’s unofficial holiday is back on March 20, the first day of spring.
The annual Free Cone Day means fans can snag a free small vanilla soft serve ice cream in a cone (duh!), just like in previous years. There is a limit of one free soft serve per customer but no purchase is necessary.
Free Cone Day is going to be supersized for some lucky people. Fans who sign up for DQ Rewards now through March 19 will be entered for the chance to win Free Cones for a Year.
DQ is honoring a springtime holiday with a green-tinged treat.
Customers can score a Mint Oreo Blizzard ahead of St. Patrick’s Day. The Blizzard combines vanilla soft serve, Oreo pieces and “cool mint topping,” per a press release.

DQ’s recently announced meal includes an original cheeseburger or chicken strips, full-size regular fries and a drink. Plus, customers can nab a sundae made from their famous soft serve — all for $7, per the company’s website.
Additionally, according to an post shared by the company on X on Feb. 13, customers have the option of swapping out the sundae for a small blizzard for an extra $2.
