Curtis Pritchard's impressive second job with famous brother away from Love Island villa

Curtis Pritchard's life has been anything but ordinary since he appeared on Love Island back in 2019.

The charming 28-year-old star has proven that there's always more to a person than meets the eye from steamy villa romances to unexpected career pivots.

Now, with Love Island: All Stars kicking off, Curtis is stepping back into the spotlight—fit, focused, and ready for love but what’s the story behind his journey from reality TV to financial entrepreneurship and back again?

For those who remember Curtis' original stint in the villa, he was more than just the guy with killer dance moves and a sweet smile. His time on the show was marked by drama and heartbreak—notably, his infamous breakup with Amy Hart.

The moment Curtis admitted to having doubts about their relationship was one of the series' most talked-about scenes, leaving Amy devastated and viewers glued to their screens.

Soon after, Curtis moved on with Maura Higgins, sparking a fiery and dramatic romance that became one of the season’s defining storylines. Although the pair placed fourth, Curtis quickly became one of the Love Island's most talked-about stars.

Curtis has dipped his toes into a little bit of everything since leaving the villa from TV shows, acting and even a bold venture into business.

In 2019, he appeared on The Boxer and the Ballroom Dancer, swapping careers with fellow Islander Tommy Fury in a project that showcased his adaptability. By 2021, Curtis had ventured into acting, appearing alongside his brother AJ Pritchard on Hollyoaks. While their performances divided opinion, it was clear Curtis was determined to explore new avenues.

Reality TV remained a significant part of his life, with appearances on The Greatest Dancer and The Challenge UK but Curtis wasn’t just about staying in the spotlight—he wanted to create something lasting and that's where Fint came in.

Fint is a financial app aimed at simplifying investing for young people. It was co-founded in 2024 by Curtis and AJ in collaboration with Wes Wilkes, the CEO of IronMarket Wealth, who looks after their finances and has been a wealth manager for over two decades.

As the brothers' relationship with IronMarket Wealth evolved, they learned about the principles of investment from Wes and Wes learned a lot about the way Gen Z look at finance and the ‘finfluencers’ they often turn to for their information.

He then saw an opportunity to help young people navigate personal finance more effectively and Fint was the perfect way to achieve that.

"The idea for the app was to create something accessible that would combat the growing noise on social media from unregulated and often inexperienced ‘finfluencers’, a noise that became deafening during the pandemic", Wes said.

"We knew that a lot of people were trying their hand at investing but were completely unprepared and uneducated as to the risks,” Curtis added at the time.

AJ also highlighted the brothers’ passion for financial education, saying: "Fint is all about making investing approachable and giving people the confidence to take control of their money. We want to help break down the barriers that make this world feel out of reach for so many."

Fint offers tailored investment portfolios in areas like climate change, e-sports, and disruptive technology, aiming to provide meaningful and future-focused options. It also includes an educational dashboard with gamified tools to help users learn the basics of investing.

Since its launch, Fint has gained recognition for its straightforward design and user-centric approach. Curtis and AJ’s involvement goes beyond being public faces for the app.

As co-founders, they’ve actively shaped its vision and continue to promote financial literacy through their podcast, Money Talks, where they discuss practical advice on topics like budgeting and setting financial goals.

Curtis’s personal life has always been a hot topic. After the dramatic breakup with Maura, he eventually found love again with Sophie Sheridan but by late 2024, reports emerged that the couple had quietly split.

With his business ventures thriving and his villa comeback in motion, Curtis continues to reinvent himself. Whether he finds love again or simply reminds us why we fell for him in the first place, one thing’s for certain: Curtis’s story is far from over.
