Amy Hart has addressed the new Love Island All Stars line-up after it was announced that her ex Curtis Pritchard, who she dated during the 2019 series of Love Island, will appear on the new series being filmed in South Africa.

The pair started off as a strong couple in the villa, but their relationship took a dramatic turn after the Casa Amor twist. This led to a breakup that saw Amy leave the show in an emotional moment, while Curtis continued his journey with fellow contestant Maura Higgins.

Since then, both Amy and Curtis have moved on to pursue different paths. Amy got married to her husband Sam Rason in Spain last year with their son Stanley also attending the ceremony, sharing some of their adorable pictures online of their special day. Amy has confessed her love for watching Love Island several times, and recently uploaded a video to her TikTok page, where she shared one line on her thoughts about each upcoming Love Island contestant. Saving her ex until last, Amy said: “I like his new hair, and I know he’ll be a great support to everyone in the villa.”

Hundreds of people have been commenting on Amy’s video with one noting: “Very mature, love this.”

Someone else said: “Amy you’re so kind about Curtis. We love you.”

Another fan added: “Curtis is defo gonna be making everyone a cup of coffee so they’re ready for the morning!”

Love Island viewers will remember the ups and downs of the former couple’s time on the original series, including his relationship with Amy. One standout moment from their time in the villa was the so-called “coffee incident,” which became a symbol of the tension in their relationship.

Curtis’s habit of making coffee for other islanders caused Amy to feel unappreciated and question his loyalty. In a viral clip which has haunted the star since his appearance on the show, Amy told Curtis: “If someone likes you they want to have a cuddle in bed with you in the morning.”

But Curtis replied: “I know and I also want to be the person that gets up and makes everyone a coffee so everyone is ready for the morning.”

Curtis has now reflected on the iconic moment, saying it “follows him everywhere” and that Amy might have taught him a lesson as he prepares to return to the villa.

Love Island: All Stars will start on ITV2 and ITVX, Monday, January 13.
