Crown from the crowd: New book reveals 250 previously unseen images of the royal family

A new book on Britain’s royals has been put together from the nation’s “attic archives”.

Royal commentator Jenny Bond asked members of the public to hunt around for old photos of the royal family.

The campaign unearthed thousands of brilliant images, each with its own unique story, dating as far back as the 1800’s.

Featuring Prince William and Harry, the Duchess of Cambridge and Meghan Markle, the book includes more than 250 photos and anecdotes about the royals over the years.

“Crown from the crowd” will be presented to Harry and Meghan ahead of their Royal Wedding as a gift “from the people”.

The book is available to buy here and all profits will be given to the Help for Heroes charity.
