Following on from Kylie Jenner’s throwback Halloween outfit, a fashion brand has dipped into Christina Aguilera’s ‘Stripped’ era for inspiration. Unfortunately, the trend they picked should have stayed in the noughties.

Designed by Y/Project, and sold for £447 on FWRD, these ‘Detachable Button Down Pants’ are the latest in a long line of denim monstrosities.

The jeans (if you can call them that) are essentially a denim garter belt with button-down leg warmers attached by some bondage-inspired hoops.

These aren’t the first detachable jeans Y/Project have created either – they previously released a light blue style that unzipped into tiny denim hot-pants.

Please. Leave. Jeans. Alone.
