Just when you thought the fashion world was done dragging jeans through the mud, comes yet another questionable denim trend.

This time in the form of a dress — a ‘Jean Dress’, as web retailer, Shopbop, quite literally names them. The hybrid creation is the latest of odd fashion trends to hit the market this year.

The garment, which consists of two pairs of denim pants sewn together in dress form, will set you back a cool £347. Features include upside-down silhouettes of the jeans — one in a medium wash and one in a dark wash. The pockets are still there, as are the flies and buttons.

If bizarre denim designs happen to be your thing, you might also fancy Kendall Jenner’s invisible jeans or extreme slit denim donned by Rihanna and Ariel Winter.

At this rate, classic denim looks are a thing of the past.
