Leeds First Direct Arena is looking to set a World Record involving Craig David.

The star will be appearing at the Leeds city centre venue on Sunday, February 2. The show will be the arena’s 1,000th since opening 12-years-ago.

Pitching their record attempt, a spokesperson said: “Are you called Craig David? Then we need you. Imagine if all the Craig Davids we could possibly find were in the same room as legendary RnB star Craig David.

“Well, that’s what we’re looking to achieve as a new World Record attempt at the First Direct Arena. Popstar Craig David will be joining us for a massive show in Leeds on February 2 where we’ll be celebrating our 1,000 th show since the arena opened 12-years-ago.

Leeds First Direct Arena has hosted some of the biggest names in music and entertainment but we’ve never attempted a world record before. That’s why we’re wanting to get as many Craig Davids as we can in the same room at the same time. There’s never been a record attempt like it, well especially not for Craig Davids anyway. So if you’re called Craig David and want to be part of the First Direct Arena’s record attempt, get in touch by January 25.”

To be included, you must be called Craig David, have valid ID confirming your name and BE available on February 2. You can find out more by emailing marketing@firstdirectarena.com.
