Costa is bringing back their viral whipped iced lattes - here’s when and where to get hold of them
Is iced coffee season ever really over?
At Costa Coffee it's been a good few months since their Iced Whipped Lattes graced the menu, but they're back and better than ever from this week.
Starting from Thursday 6th March, iced coffee aficionados will be able to get their hands on Costa's Iced Whipped Lattes nationwide.
The drink, which was Costa's most popular order of summer 2024, comes in two flavours; white chocolate and caramel.
The formulation of this caffeinated treat is as follows: a layer of whipped coffee (there's a bit of a Dalgona vibe going on here), your choice of dairy or plant-based milk, and either a white chocolate or caramel sauce.
Served over ice, the drink was a crowd-pleaser with coffee fans when it returned for the first time last summer after its 2023 launch. ‘I’ve had the white chocolate one twice in two days 😍,’ said one Instagram user. ‘I’d drink these all year round if I could! By far the best thing in Costa ever,’ said another.
David Crabtree, Head of Beverage Innovation at Costa Coffee, says: ‘Why wait until Summer? For the first time ever, it’s back earlier than ever and joining our menu of core iced coffee classics. Whether it’s the middle of winter or the height of summer, you can now get your Iced Whipped Latte fix whenever you like!’
