The coolest group Halloween costumes are right here
Halloween is just around the corner, and whether you're having people over to eat some spook-tacular food and host a fun Halloween quiz, or you're going out with your friends, you can't forget about the costume!
We love any excuse to dress up and our best Halloween costume ideas of all time will give you all the inspiration you need, but if you're after ideas with a bigger group, keep on scrolling!
Left it a bit too late? We hear you. These are our easiest DIY costumes that you can whip up in no time!
Lip Smackers Collection
With so many Lip Smacker flavours to go around, you can have as big of a group as you want join in on the nostalgic fun. All you need are colorful t-shirt dresses, our Lipsmacker template to create iron-on patches, and matching beach buckets to use as the caps. So easy and creative!
Barbies
Sure, Barbie and Ken make a great couples costume, but when you and your friends walk in, channeling each of the amazing Barbies featured in the film, everyone will know every night is girls' night for sure.
Charcuterie Board
Love a charcuterie board? Why not dress like it? This costume works best with multiple people and requires yellow and red craft paint and styrofoam cake rounds for creating the slices of Gouda, which you can then attach to a headband with hot glue or place on a wooden board as a prop to carry around. As for the grape headband, you'll have a bit of crafting to do once you buy purple tree ornaments and some floral wire. But don't worry, it's easy!
Instructions:
Cut several 30cm lengths of floral wire. Thread an ornament onto the centre of each wire and twist the ends together.
Gather all of the wired ornaments and twist the wires together to create a tapered bunch of grapes. Trim any excess wire pieces off and wrap any exposed wire with floral tape.
Cut a grape leaf shape from green paper and attach it to the bunch with hot glue.
Wire two small hair combs to the bottom of the bunch to secure onto your head. You might need some extra bobby pins to secure as well.
'Inside Out' Emotions
What's more timely than an Inside Out-themed costume coming on the heels of the highly-anticipated Inside Out 2? Stick with the classic characters, or make space for Anxiety, Embarrassment, Ennui and Envy, too.
'Game of Thrones'
Yes, the finale was controversial, but Game of Thrones will be talked about for years to come. Transform into your favourite characters, from the dragon-rider Daenerys to the winter king, Jon Snow.
Minions
Whether you have five people in your group or 50, this costume is easy to pull off with a larger number. Everyone just needs goggles, gloves, a yellow shirt and overalls, and the costume is as good as complete.
The Spice Girls
Grab your girlfriends and have fun deciding which Spice Girl you are. Are you as posh as Victoria Beckham is, or are you more sporty, like Mel C? Whichever girl you choose, just make sure you're okay with lots of glitter and platform shoes.
Crayons
And now for something cute and comfy. When you use our template, half the work is done. All you need to do is figure out which colour everyone wants to be.
'Sex and the City' Characters
You don't need to have a scary costume for Halloween. If you're a fan of Sex and the City, each of your friends can pick a main character, choose an episode and rumble through your closets in search of similar outfits.
Men in Black
This idea is simple, sleek and a tribute to Men in Black. Have everyone wear matching black suits and shades to scare those aliens away.
Ghostbusters
Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters! You and your friends can emulate Venkman, Stantz, Spengler and Zeddemore.
The Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus
Conjure up the Halloween classic by finding two friends and getting into character as Winifred, Sarah and Mary. And if your trick-or-treating group is larger, it never hurts to have more movie characters running amok — we suggest Billy Butcherson, Thackery Binx and Dani Dennison.
