- Of course, inevitably, there's all this nonsense about the two of you.
GEMMA ATKINSON: I know.
- How stupid is that?
GEMMA ATKINSON: We read that we were having a rough patch.
- Did you giggle at that?
GEMMA ATKINSON: Yeah.
- Or did you get cross?
GEMMA ATKINSON: It was actually my auntie who messaged me. And she said, Is everything OK? She says, It says in the press.
- Oh, jeez.
GEMMA ATKINSON: I was like, Yeah, yeah, it's fine. But I think, I get how people would find it strange that we're apart a lot. But that's how it's been since we met. For every year I know from August till Christmas, Gorka knows he doesn't know where he's going to be based.
Until he gets his partner, if he has a partner, they go to where the celebrity is. But because I've done "Strictly" and I know that side of it, it's not new to me. It's not a shock to me. I mean, there's people, army wives, their partners are away for six, seven months.
- Of course they are. Of course they are.
GEMMA ATKINSON: And they make out I'm moaning about, I've been on my own for three weeks. It's complete--
