I suffer from chronic pain and this heated foot massager is a total godsend — here's why
I tried the Comfier Shiatsu Foot Massager from Amazon Canada. Here's my honest review of the $85 foot massager.
You always hear about how your body starts to ache in new and depressing places as you age. I'm halfway into my 30s, and I’m no stranger to the dreaded back pain and knee cracking sounds I was warned about; the foot pain, however, came as a surprise. Despite decades of wearing unsupportive flats, platforms and sneakers, I never really experienced daily foot pain until recently. Over the past several months, I began feeling excruciating pain whenever I took off my shoes after a long day. Finally, at the end of my rope, I ordered the Comfier Shiatsu Foot Massager from Amazon Canada. Ever since, it's become a fixture in my nightly routine — here's why I love it.
I'm not the only one who's getting pain relief from the COMFIER Shiatsu Foot Massager — it has hundreds of five-star reviews on Amazon.

I tried it. Does it work?
I’ve noticed a drastic reduction in my foot pain over the last 30 days thanks to the Comfier Shiatsu Foot Massager, and the relief happened almost immediately. It can take a few tries to find the settings and positioning that suit you best, but once I had my preferences down, I was hooked. I genuinely look forward to sitting down each day, reading a book and getting a foot massage.
What I like about it
It relieves my foot pain
My job sometimes requires me to be on my feet for several hours a week, and with my new obsession with using a walking pad, I’ve been putting in more steps on a daily basis than I have in years. Between my love of uncomfortable shoes and my husband’s disgruntled moans every time I ask for a foot massage, I was getting desperate for pain relief. Since incorporating the Comfier Shiatsu Foot Massager into my daily routine, I’ve felt a significant decrease in foot pain, and it’s had a positive impact on almost every part of my day.
It has a long cord
I live in an older home where outlets are few and far between, so the long cord comes in handy. It also has a low profile, which allows me to tuck it under furniture and pull it out when in use.
The settings are customizable
There are three types of massage offered and each type has three levels of intensity. These settings allow you to completely customize your foot massage experience. I’ve found the perfect combination of pressure, vibration, and kneading that help relieve my pain, and I’m looking forward to implementing the heat setting once winter comes.
It can accommodate many foot sizes
As with every exciting new electronic that enters my household, my husband and I end up fighting over who gets to use it. Lucky for him, the massager can fit up to a men’s size 13 while still feeling comfortable for my women’s size nine feet. My husband also has incredibly ticklish feet and has zero discomfort while using this massager.

Room for improvement
There's no remote
If I’m in relaxation mode, I’ll take every opportunity not to lift a finger; bending over to push the power button on a foot massager, however, does not pass the vibe check. A remote would be a welcomed addition to this device, especially with the customizable settings that can be changed mid-massage.
The pressure isn’t even on all parts of the foot
The massager does a better job massaging some parts of my foot than others. My foot pain is often centralized to the heel and arch, and this massager focuses its kneading and pressure features on the arch and toes.
It turns off after 15 minutes
I’ve been loving this foot massager so much, is it any surprise that I wish it lasted for hours? Like every massaging device I’ve purchased, the foot massager shuts off after 15 minutes. You can easily hit the button and turn it back on if you wish to continue the massage, but it would be nice if there were a way to select the duration.
