Claudia Winkleman x Marks & Spencer has got us very excited
Marks & Spencer has clearly noticed quite how obsessed we all are with Claudia Winkleman's wardrobe, because the high-street fashion giant has announced the TV presenter as its latest ambassador, fronting its new Jaeger collection.
In exciting pictures posted on Instagram, the Strictly Come Dancing and The Traitors host can be seen wearing a suitably wintry look (she famously hates summer) featuring quite possibly the wool coat of the season.
In the photos, Claudia is wearing a navy and white striped jumper, black straight-leg trousers, a classic white T-shirt and the aforementioned navy longline coat. She's known for her monochrome looks that combine classic tailoring with an edgy twist, so this feels authentically her.
'It's Claudia. It's autumn. It's Jaeger. We are not OK,' read the caption, referring to M&S' elevated in-house Jaeger line. Brimming with cosy coats, elegant shift dresses and slick tailored trousers, this British heritage brand is all about 'clean lines and minimalist detailing', as well as a 'timeless neutral colour palette'. It was acquired by M&S in 2021, and it feels so Claud.
'When I think of M&S I think of the best bras on the planet, my softest T-shirt that I love that I think might be made of butter, Percy Pigs and absolute staples that I cannot live without,' says Claudia in a behind-the-scenes video on the retailer's site.
'I've never owned a handbag so I love a pocket and I'm delighted with this coat; it makes me feel like a teddy bear and has very deep pockets.'
In the clip, Claudia can also be seeing weather other Jaeger pieces, including a snuggly burgundy cardigan – the colour of the season – and a heritage checked coat. Other highlights from the new collection include a grey oversized blazer, wide-leg leather trousers and a ruffled burnt-orange blouse.
The star was styled for her M&S shoot by her long-term stylist Sinead McKeefry – the talent behind the Strictly and Traitors outfits we've all been coveting (and, whenever possible, shopping in our droves). Sinead shared the above clip on her own Instagram page, adding, 'This is so great!', and sharing the product links for fans to shop. She also revealed that Claudia's shoes are men's brogues, also from M&S.
