Claire Danes and her husband Hugh Dancy have confirmed that they are expecting their third child together.
A representative for the couple confirmed the news to People, although information about how far along Danes is and whether they are expecting a boy or a girl have been kept private for now.
Danes and Dancy tied the knot in 2009 after meeting on the set of a film in 2006. They currently have two sons, 10-year-old Cyrus and 4-year-old Rowan.
Speaking to the same publication during her last pregnancy in 2018, Danes said: "Pretty soon I get to retire for a little while and just be pregnant, which I look forward to.
"It feels like a huge luxury. When I was pregnant with my first son, I worked until I was in my eighth month, so this feels like a huge gift, to have a chance to kick my feet up a little bit."
Last November saw the release of Danes' latest project, the series Fleishman Is in Trouble. Jesse Eisenberg stars as a man in his 40s who finds his wife has left him without a trace.
The show has been critically acclaimed, and for her role as ex-wife Rachel, Danes has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Television Film at this year's Golden Globes, which will be held tomorrow (January 10) night.
Danes is best known for Homeland, which she starred in between 2011 and 2020.
