Chuck Norris ‘Feels 48’ in New Boxing Video Shared on 84th Birthday

CHUCK NORRIS JUST turned 84 years old, but in his own words, feels like he's at least 30 years younger. The actor and martial artist, who gained a reputation as one of the toughest guys in pop culture of the 20th century, marked his 84th birthday by sharing a video on Instagram where he proves he's still fighting fit.

In the caption for the post, Norris wrote that he is "feeling good and staying active," and the video shows him demonstrating some of his boxing skills, before going on to say: "You know, I'm 84 today, but I feel like I'm 48!"

A black belt in judo and jiu-jitsu, Norris started out in Hollywood as a celebrity fight trainer, before making his acting debut in the 1969 movie The Wrecking Crew. He went on to have a hugely successful career in the action flicks of the '70s and '80s, starring in Breaker, Breaker!, Good Guys Wear Black, A Force of One, An Eye for an Eye, Missing in Action, The Delta Force, Firewalker, and Code of Silence.

He is also well-known for playing the lead role in the long-running TV series Walker, Texas Ranger—and for inspiring a whole new genre of joke in his honor.

His last action movie was in 2012, with an appearance in the all-star ensemble The Expendables 2 alongside fellow '80s and '90s action stars Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li, Bruce Willis, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Since then, he has made just a handful of TV appearances.

However, Norris has clearly been staying strong off-camera—and for good reason. He recently got fans excited when he announced that he will be making a return to the screen in the upcoming movie Agent Recon, in which he will play a character named Captain Alastair.
